- She has been a Charlotte resident since 1998 and owned a local boutique in the heart of Myers Park.
- Susan received a BA in Textile Design from North Carolina State University. She also studied architecture at the American College in London.
- Susan resides in Myers Park in a home she remodeled herself with her husband, a Charlotte native, and her two kids.
