Steve Slayden has been active in the Charlotte real estate market for more than 20 years, joining Dickens Mitchener in 1993. Representing both buyers and sellers and having bought and sold more than 50 properties in the Charlotte area for his own investment, he uses his vast knowledge of the local market and his personal expertise to counsel his clients. “I am committed to helping my clients achieve the highest and best return on their real estate investments,” explains Slayden.
Slayden holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Duke University. While attending Duke University, he proudly served as the starting quarterback of the football team from 1984 to 1988. After graduation, he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns and played in the National Football League for two years.
Slayden lives in Eastover with his wife and three children. Slayden’s main hobby turned to golf after his football career ended. He won the Carolinas Amateur Championship in 1994, the Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship in 1999, and has competed in six US Amateurs and six British Amateurs.
