Originally from Sag Harbor, N.Y. Kate Terrigno has done her fair-share of relocating in her lifetime. She graduated from Arizona State University, Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and communications. Upon graduation, she began her professional career with Fox News Channel in New York where she thrived in the fast-paced, high-pressure newsroom. It was here that she mastered her skills of working under tight deadlines. After several years in the broadcasting industry, Terrigno and her husband relocated to Charlotte in 2011 to venture into new careers.
Immediately, they were hooked on the beauty and culture of the Queen City. “Coming from a small town in the Hamptons, I have a true appreciation for unique homes, especially those that radiate charm and sophistication. When I arrived in Charlotte, I was blown away by the city’s quaint neighborhoods and the plethora of inimitable, classic homes. I couldn’t resist an opportunity to work in such an impressive and successful real estate market,” explains Terrigno.
After a few years of living in Myers Park, Terrigno and her husband recently purchased a historic, charming home on a beautiful tree-lined street in Plaza Midwood. Their search for their dream home didn’t happen overnight and Terrigno says finding the perfect spot is not always easy but it is possible with enough hard work. Her drive, exceptional listening skills and attention to detail make her a diligent navigator in the sometimes overwhelming task of buying or selling a home. As a native New Yorker, Terrigno has an eye for finding that needle in the haystack. “No matter my clients’ taste, budget or requirements I am confident that I will find them the most incredible home in this one of a kind Southern City,” says Terrigno.
