Granice Geyer-Smith offers her clients more than 25 years of experience as a real estate lawyer, developer and broker.
Her passion for real estate began when she obtained her real estate broker’s license during a summer while in college at Wake Forest University. Later, she went on to obtain her law degree at Wake Forest University School of Law, specializing in real estate law. As a partner with the law firm of Moore & Van Allen in the commercial real estate group in Charlotte, she represented buyers, sellers, developers and lenders in various real estate transactions, negotiations and closings. Granice furthered her diverse real estate experience working as a residential developer, constructing and renovating multiple properties in the Myers Park, Plaza Midwood and Foxcroft areas.
Granice’s legal expertise enables her to assist her clients in negotiating purchases and sales of homes in the most economic and efficient manner. Additionally, her background and expertise in residential development allows her to offer to clients unique vision and creative ideas for new construction and renovation projects tailored to their needs.
Granice is originally from Fort Lauderdale, but has lived in Charlotte for 23 years and has a vast working knowledge of Charlotte neighborhoods and schools. She currently lives in the Foxcroft neighborhood with her husband and three boys.
