Catharine Pappas is the mastermind leader of Dickens Mitchener’s award-winning relocation department. As a native Charlottean, Pappas brings a wealth of intimate knowledge, experience, enthusiasm and attention to her job of transitioning families to and from the Queen City.
Pappas is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a degree in economics. After college, she began her career in real estate working for Coates, Reid & Waldron, the largest real estate company in Aspen, CO. Before joining the Dickens Mitchener team in 1993, Pappas worked in Washington, D.C., where she worked as the office administrator for a successful congressman.

Under Pappas’s powerful leadership, the relocation department has been honored with numerous awards for outgoing and incoming referral performance and marketing. The department has been re-certified for the prestigious RELO Quality Certification (RQC), a designation which is held by less than 4% of the top real estate companies in the world, and in 2012, Dickens Mitchener won the International Properties Award for best real estate company in North Carolina.
