Sales Manager & Broker-in-Charge: Sarah Szczodrowski
As general sales manager and broker-in-charge, Sarah Szczodrowski excels in recruiting agents, as well as training, advising, and monitoring agents in all sales activities, licensing compliance requirements and strategic marketing campaigns. With more than ten years of real estate experience and a variety of top real estate designations, she is well-versed on the latest industry practices, rules and regulations. This know-how enriches her performance as the “go-to” liaison between Dickens Mitchener agents and the real estate commission, as well as the local Realtors® association. She is also responsible for scheduling and coordinating special events, guest speakers, sales meetings and community outreach activities.
Broker-in-Charge: Jimmy Rountree
As broker-in-charge, Jimmy Rountree excels in advising and carefully monitoring agents in all sales activities, licensing compliance requirements and strategic marketing campaigns. Following a family tradition of working in real estate, Jimmy Rountree teamed up with his mother Sharon in 2002 to start selling homes in the greater Charlotte area. Even coming from a long line of Realtors®, Rountree brings his own unique skill-set to the table. Using his intimate understanding of the Charlotte area and real estate market, he is able to dig deep to understand his clients’ precise real estate needs. He is patient, understanding and detail oriented, making the buying and selling processes as seamless as possible. Rountree provides his clients with unmatchable service, attention to detail, passion, and a positive attitude that goes beyond the call of duty.
Office Administrator: Melanie Vise
Melanie Vise has been the lead office administrator at Dickens Mitchener for 20 years. As a veteran member of the firm, Vise is responsible for managing all property listings as well as overseeing MLS compliance on all listings, to ensure the integrity of the firm. Vise also acts as the fill-in accountant for the firm and is trained to maintain contract paperwork, handle earnest money and pay agent commissions. In addition, she is also in charge of staff management, building maintenance and ordering all corporate marketing and office supplies for the firm. Vise is also in charge of coordinating all corporate events and functions.
Relocation Director: Catharine Pappas
Catharine Pappas is the mastermind leader of Dickens Mitchener’s award-winning relocation department. As a native Charlottean, Pappas brings a wealth of intimate knowledge, experience, enthusiasm and attention to her job of transitioning families to and from the Queen City. Pappas has more than 20 years of relocation experience and also holds many impressive relocation designations. She holds her Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), Relocation Certified Coordinator (RCC) and Global Destination Specialist (GDS) designations.
She also assisted Dickens Mitchener in solidifying some strategic memberships with the Employee Relocation Council (ERC), the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World™, the Charlotte Chamber Economic Development Council and the Charlotte Metro Area Relocation Council.
Director of Communication: Celeste Horton
Celeste Horton is our newest member of the Leadership team. She has over 10 years experience in digital marketing including social media, paid advertising and marketing strategies. She previously managed social media for individual agents and oversaw the Dickens Mitchener social media presence. She helped create the social media department and is excited to see what the future brings.
In her new role, she will be responsible for all internal and external communications. She will also be the co-lead for the new website design and development. Horton oversees the social media department as well as the South office manager.
