Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen is a key player in Charlotte’s local restaurant scene. Its seasonally-inspired menu includes the finest fresh ingredients from small local farmers. The rustic, yet refined interior sets the tone for an amazing dining experience. The staff here at Dickens Mitchener recently visited the SouthPark location, which even has a wall of – you guessed it- roosters, as part of the decor.
We tried several different entrees and sides during our lunch trip to Rooster’s, and everything was delicious! Highlights included the chicken wrap with artichoke, spinach and tomatoes with a side of margaux’s succotash, as well as the pastrami sandwich with swiss cheese and mustard on sliced rye with a side of fries. We can’t leave out the macaroni and cheese with parmesan cream sauce, which completely stole the show.
